PGDCA (Post Graduation in Diploma in Computer Application)

DTP or Desktop Publishing is the creation of digital files using page layout and image editing software, primarily for print publications. However, desktop publishing involves more than just using the right software.
Desktop publishing is a much-in-demand ability that is used by anyone doing it themselves, or for large corporations who are constantly in need of documents and marketing material. Publishing from the desktop involves anything done on a computer that prepares a document from start to finish.
The document could be printed on paper, or put online and circulated as an eDocument. Desktop publishing can be a department in a corporation or a business in itself.
A desktop publisher uses desktop publishing software that can be used to produce many kinds of documents. Both the layout of the words and any graphic design or photo manipulation is all done by the software, although different software may be used.
